Short Bio:
I'm the current lab manager of UF's Forest Entomology Lab. Other than handling administrative duties, I respond to most communications directed towards the lab itself. My additional responsibilities include acting as the Lab Safety Manager, as well as assisting with lab work and maintenance of our bark beetle collections.
Prior to joining the Forest Entomology Lab, I acted as a supervisor and IPM specialist within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences' Controlled Environment Horticulture and Floriculture Research labs. During this time, I was able to manage, as well as run independently, a number of research trials bound for future publication.
Outside of my work within Hulcr lab, I also collaborate with Dr. Cameron Jack of UF's Honey Bee Research Laboratory. Currently, I'm looking to begin building a plant and bee pollen library for Alachua County, with hopes of expanding further throughout Florida in the future.
