Short Bio
I am the former lab manager in the UF Forest Entomology Lab. I make sure that the organizational and monetary aspects of the lab are running smoothly. I also help manage the collections of beetles and fungi, and I help my colleagues with lab procedures. Botany is my primary interest, so the ambrosia beetle-fungi symbiosis is of particular importance to me because of the manner in which it affects the botanical ecosystem in forests. I also enjoy working with fungi and learning about how they have become symbiotic with these beetles.
